Earlier this week, I paid a good deal of money to strap myself to a total stranger and have him throw us both out of a perfectly good airplane at 14,000 feet.

I've alway counted sky diving as one of those "do before you die" things, so I figured why not now. There are a couple of guys on tour with me that are hard core sky divers, they go on every day off, so I tagged along this week and can now check one more thing off my to do list.

My First Blog...

I feel like there should be some sort of dramatic music in the background, maybe I'll just hum "Pomp and Circumstance"...

After years spent getting over my fear of directing; hating knowing that there are people out there waiting expectantly for something notable, moving or significant to come from me, I have decided (at the urging of friends) to create a blog. As the sub-title suggests, apparently friends of mine think I have a glamorous and fun life and would like to know more about it. So, from here on, I will attempt to sit down at the computer on a semi-regular basis and give you a glimpse into the life of a traveling stage manager. (And, if this turns out to be miserably boring reading, blame Creighton, he lives in a cubicle and wanted to be entertained by my exploits.)
